Activating Complex Passwords for It’s Me 247 – What You Need to Know

It’s Me 247 online banking offers many control features to meet the needs of an increasingly security-conscious online space.  Among these is the option to require the use of complex passwords for members.

To activate complex passwords in It’s Me 247, you will need to check the appropriate box in the Online/Mobile Password and Security Settings screen.  Complex passwords require members to create a password that includes a combination of at least three of the four following items:

  • An uppercase letter
  • A lowercase letter
  • A number
  • A special character (please note that certain special characters are not allowed – click here to view a list of available options.)

Note that, once activated, the complex password feature will immediately force members to change their existing password (provided they do not already have a complex password in use.)
