Dear CU*Answers Clients,

What a wealth of new training opportunities this year brings! I am excited to announce three new courses that will help you take advantage of all the options available through our Internet Retailer Support Center (IRSC): Shopping the IRSC Online Store (13.01), MAP/MOP – Applying for Membership Online (13.02), and Launching Your FREE CU*Answers Mobile App (13.03). In response to client requests for additional compliance training, we’re also offering two new Enterprise Risk Management courses this year: Internal Controls Best Practices (8.08) and Vendor Management 101 (8.09). Additionally, we’re introducing a new Secure-U course to assist clients with disaster recovery planning: Incident Response and recovery Testing (9.70). These six new courses bring our total number of course offerings to a whopping 115!

Among the numerous courses being offered in 2017, 11 have refreshed content, indicated by a “star/revised” notation on the course syllabus. One such course has been brought back into circulation this year. Previously available by request only, CU*Statements (4.40) is again included in the course schedule due to growing demand, so be sure to register for this course and find out what’s new with statement configuration in CU*BASE.

On top of our new and refreshed course offerings, we are introducing two new webinar series this year: “Revisions and the Future of CU*BASE Budgeting” and “Lending Tools Webinar Series.” These new training offerings will give participants the opportunity to discuss existing CU*BASE lending and budgeting tools and provide their input on enhancements in the pipeline. I am pleased to announce that these new webinar series, along with all of our webinars, are now free of charge, thanks to our new partnership with Zoom Video Communications, which specializes in user-friendly cloud video conferencing. Our new partnership comes as part of an effort to increase the quality and quantity of video training for our clients. As part of this effort, we are also continuing to add more CU*BASE and It’s Me 247 instructional videos to Show Me the Steps, which now includes nearly 200 videos tutorials!

If you prefer in-person training, you’ll be happy to know that we’ve added a new location to our list of areas in which we offer Regional Training Events. New in 2017 is the East Coast Regional Training Event. This new training event brings our total special training events to 26! Add to that our 115 course offerings and you have a plethora of educational offerings to fit just about any training need! I hope you are able to take advantage of the full education calendar this year because, as you know, success starts with training.
