HA Rollover: December 20 – 22
Now available for your review is a summary of the recent CU*Answers HA (high availability) rollover event performed December 20th to 22nd for the CU*BASE core processing environment. In this report, you will find details about the exercise, including challenges observed, lessons learned, and recommendations for improving the rollover process.
Unlike most of our HA Rollovers, this was an ‘unplanned rollover’ which resulted from a failed hardware component on PROD. CU*Answers invests heavily in redundancy on our servers, and this allowed us to keep processes running and to schedule the rollover during low volume hours.
