HA Rollover Event this Weekend – Updates to be Posted on Alerts Page

Don’t forget: this weekend, we will be testing our ability to redirect CBX core-processing from our production data center to our high-availability (HA) data center.  The Rollover event is scheduled to begin at 2:00 AM EST (3:00 AM EDT) on Sunday, March 8th. Once completed, CBX core-processing will be provided from systems at the HA data center for a period of one week.

On Sunday, March 15th, beginning at 3:00 AM EDT, we will perform Rollback procedures to return CBX core-processing to the production data center.

During both the Rollover and Rollback procedures, the following services will be interrupted for approximately 60 to 90 minutes: CBX, CU*Talk audio response, and It’s Me 247 online banking (a splash page will be presented). ATM and credit card transactions will operate in stand-in mode at the switch until systems are back online.

Please note: We will be posting any/all issues related to the HA Rollover event to the Alerts page, compiled into a single alert located here.  We will not be sending out any emails regarding individual issues for the HA Rollover. If you encounter any issues during or after the Rollover period, please refer to the Alerts page to see if it is currently a known issue.

If you’ve not already done so, If you’ve not already done so, please ensure that you complete the following connectivity tests prior to the March 8th HA Rollover:

We strongly recommend that credit unions test connectivity to the High Availability CBX servers via the button below. Please be aware: disregarding this connectivity test could result in staff being unable to access CBX during the Rollover.

Test Connectivity to the HA CBX Web Servers

Important: please make sure that the aforementioned connectivity test is completed at each of your branch locations.

Additionally, we strongly encourage that someone at each branch tests connectivity to the HA data center from a CBX workstation. If your credit union has any employees who are working remotely, we recommend asking them to perform the connectivity test as well. Use the links below to complete one or both of the connectivity tests.

Please contact the CU*Answers Network Services Help Desk at helpdesk@cuanswers.com if the tests above are unsuccessful.
