This page will be used to list some of the more noteworthy interfaces we are working on via the Developer’s Help Desk. This is not an exhaustive list, and projects are constantly being added, cancelled, and changed, so stay tuned! New Tool for Creating Files for Third-parties!
Another related project we’re working on (#62000) is to create a new “unique identifier” cross-reference table. This will create a table within each credit union’s CU*BASE file library that contains the membership number and a randomly-generated, unique alphanumeric identification code. This will be updated during end-of-day for any new membership accounts added (or closed) during that day.
NOTE: This identifier will NOT be incorporated into any existing CU*BASE processes (screens, reports, statements, etc.); however, CUs will be able to use this information in queries as they like. CUs can also also request that this be used when transmitting data to third parties via custom file exchanges. Status as of February 2024: This is a custom project requested by Isabella Commmunity CU, currently in QC testing. Once testing is complete we will choose a release date to deploy the new table and daily update process to all CUs. Any CU who wishes us to include this identifier in an existing or new custom third-party file exchange will need to submit a DHD project request for the change.
