Biography
Jeffrey Kusler serves as CEO of Journey Federal Credit Union, where he has led a full-scale transformation focused on financial guidance, employee empowerment, and digital-first operations. Under his leadership, JFCU launched the Journey Forward model, introducing advisory-based roles, self-service ITMs, and a redesigned service culture that earned the 2025 MCUL Innovation Award.
Prior to his role at JFCU, Jeff held leadership positions at CASE Credit Union and MSU Federal Credit Union. He currently serves as Vice Chair of MiCUSO and holds board roles with the Michigan Association of United Ways and Michigan 2-1-1. He holds degrees from Ohio Wesleyan University and Michigan State University and was named a 2024 Credit Union Luminary by CU Times.
