We’re excited to introduce MX as a new open-banking provider for eBill data in Bill Center! This enhancement expands our eBill coverage and enables more reliable access to bill amounts and due dates for the following financial institutions:
- American Express
- USAA Bank
- Kohl’s
- Navy Federal Credit Union
- Glacier Bank
- AAA Federal Credit Union (South Bend, Indiana)
Connecting eBills through open-banking provides a more secure and stable experience compared to traditional credential-based connections. Open-banking connections do not require users to re-authenticate on a recurring basis, helping reduce connection interruptions and improving overall eBill reliability. As a result, users benefit from more consistent eBill updates, fewer connection issues, and a smoother bill management experience in Bill Center.
What This Means for Existing eBill Users
Users who are currently connected for eBills with any of the billers listed above will need to disconnect their existing eBill connection in Bill Center, and re-link the biller for eBills. Once re-linked, the biller will connect through the new MX open-banking connection, allowing users to take advantage of the improved reliability and security.
