The Next HA Rollover is Coming in November – We Need You to Perform a Connectivity Test!

Twice each year, CU*Answers tests our ability to redirect CBX core-processing from our production data center in Kentwood, MI to our high-availability (HA) data center in Yankton, SD. For our fall HA Rollover, we will be performing two exercises – one for the CUAPROD environment and another for the CUAPROD2 environments, as follows:

  • The HA Rollover for CUAPROD is scheduled to begin at 3:00 AM ET on Sunday, November 8th, with the Rollback planned for 3:00 AM ET on Thursday, November 12th.
  • The HA Rollover for CUAPROD2 is scheduled to begin at 7:00 AM ET on Sunday, November 15th, with the Rollback planned for 7:00 AM ET on Sunday, November 22nd.

There will be brief service interruptions during the rollover and rollback processes for both exercises. Additional details will be included in future announcements as we get closer to these dates.

Prior to these rollover exercises, we strongly recommend that credit unions test connectivity to the High Availability CBX servers via the button below. Note that the test link is different for CUAPROD vs. CUAPROD2 – please use the appropriate button below.

Please be aware: disregarding this connectivity test could result in staff being unable to access CBX during the Rollover.

Additionally, we strongly encourage that someone at each branch tests connectivity to the HA data center from a CBX workstation. Additionally, if your credit union has any employees who are working remotely, we recommend asking them to perform the connectivity test as well. Use the link below to complete a connectivity test.

Please contact the CU*Answers Network Services Help Desk at helpdesk@cuanswers.com if the tests above are unsuccessful. Failure to complete the tests may result in CBX connectivity issues on the morning following the November 8th and/or the November 15th rollover event(s).
