As of July 22nd, a project was deployed to adjust the maximum retention period for AT Audit Trackers to meet OFAC compliance requirements. Previously, OFAC records in GOLD had a retention range with a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 7 years. Moving forward, the maximum range will be expanded to 10 years.
In conjunction with this change, there are companion projects that will supplement changes to the OFAC process. These projects are scheduled to be completed at a later date.
In the meantime, your credit union has the ability to perform the aforementioned adjustments to your maximum range, to build upon OFAC data retention for up to 10 years. Adjustments to the maximum range can be performed via Tool #277 Configure Tracker Types. If your credit union is using a data warehouse to archive purged trackers for OFAC data, no additional action is required.
