Earlier this year, your credit union may have been informed of new compliance rules pertaining to RTP® from The Clearing House. This new rule dictates that all clients who receive immediate payments be required to display data specific to RTP® transactions in fields visible to the end customer/member.
The Clearing House recently extended the deadline to comply with this new rule for field display requirements. Previously scheduled to go into effect on July 1, 2026, the deadline has since been extended to February 1, 2027.
The CU*Answers Cards and Payments team is currently working directly with Corporate One to comply with this. Corporate One is creating an API which will allow us to grab information and display it to members within online banking. Meanwhile, CU*Answers has created Project #67872 to update the Account Activity Module in online banking to display additional fields required for real-time payments.
