Update: Preparing for the New Western Production Environment

The following information applies only to credit unions who received the associated email.

CU*Answers has established a migration plan for those credit unions who will be relocated to our new iSeries production environment. This includes clients located in the Mountain, Pacific, and Hawaii time zones. Your third-party vendors have been contacted and tested, and now our Migration Coordinators are ready to begin the migration process with each credit union.

Why is CU*Answers Investing in a New Production Environment?

A new designated production environment for our western clients will provide better performance for core processing.

Currently, high-availability rollover events and software releases occur at the same time for your credit union as they do for clients in the Eastern and Central time zones. This new production environment will allow for future rollover events and software deployments to occur in Pacific Time, which will ensure that your credit union is not inconvenienced by interruptions during regular business hours.

What Does Your Credit Union Need to Know?

There is no cost to your credit union – CU*Answers will be paying for the migration process.

This process will be a team effort and will involve many hours of programming and development on CU*Answers’ side. We aim to make the transition as smooth as possible for our credit union partners.
