CBX Update: Our Plans for This Weekend

We know that this has been a challenging week for some of your teams, and we can’t thank you enough for your patience and cooperation as we continue to refine and adjust issues as they arise. In fact, the volume and activity we’ve been seeing these past couple of weeks have allowed us to test and adjust for things that were not apparent previously when fewer CUs were actively using CBX. This is exactly the kind of real-world, bandwidth-testing, system-stretching activities we need to refine our programs. Thank you for helping us continue to improve.

This afternoon’s issue where servers were temporarily interrupted is still being researched. We also have a handful of credit unions who still have a few users experiencing unexpected timeouts with CBX. Therefore, to allow us to time to address these without further disruptions to your credit unions, we will not be turning GOLD off for any additional CUs this weekend as planned.

On Monday morning, January 11th, we will be implementing a change to CBX related to the timeout issues some credit unions have experienced. This update will not affect Station Control or involve any network changes.

Although you may still have access to GOLD, please continue relying on CBX for your day to day work as much as possible. And of course if you do run into timeout or other connectivity issues while using CBX, please let us know.

Stay tuned for another announcement Monday morning, and throughout the week, as we continue releasing CBX updates and determine the official GOLD sunset date.
