Mobile 9.0 Coming Soon: Authentication Updates and MACO Re-enrollment

In August, we will begin the rollout for Mobile 9.0, which will include some big changes for both the MACO authentication process as well as changes to the EULA presentation and re-enrollment in MACO services. These changes will happen throughout August in Phase I and Phase II, and will apply to both It’s Me 247 online banking and BizLink 247 business banking mobile apps.

Phase I

August 3rd – 14th

Mobile apps will update to Mobile 9.0, featuring a new login interface and changes to MACO authentication options.

Phase II

August 18th

Implementing changes to the EULA process in CU Publisher, and member re-enrollment in MACO services.

What’s Changing in Phase I?

In Phase I, members will be presented with a new UI when logging in to the mobile app using MACO authentication. At this time, DAON Voice for iOS and Android, as well as DAON Face for Android, will be sunset (note that for supported devices, Android Face will still be available). Users will need to select their preferred login method the first time they open the app after the upgrade, but each time thereafter, the preferred login method will be presented automatically.

Phase I will implement between August 3rd-14th; keep an eye out for emails regarding accepting the developer agreement.

What’s Changing in Phase II?

In Phase II, we will be completing our migration to new cloud-based servers, which will prompt all MACO users to re-enroll in services, and accept the new EULA.

The EULA process for MACO will now exist in CU Publisher, similar to your online banking EULAs. The EULA content itself has not changed.

Members will be presented with a mobile alert on August 18th, prompting them to re-enroll in services as a result of a security update. See the alert content examples here.

Phase II will happen on Tuesday, August 18th.

Upgrading to Mobile 9.0

This upgrade to Mobile 9.0 will include the standard annual update fee, which will be reflected on your September invoice.
