As part of our ongoing compliance measures, as well as our effort to improve member experience, we are preparing a multi-step transition of our DAON services from their legacy on-premises IdentityX solution to their newer, cloud-based IdentityX solution. Some work related to this change has occurred behind the scenes without user impact, however, some upcoming changes will require users to re-enroll in services.
During the week of April 20th, your credit union will migrate to a new MACO platform. Following this first step to move to the cloud-based platform, more changes in the upcoming months will allow for more guided and intuitive verification flow during MOP, with a stronger emphasis on mobile device cameras for identity capture, and improved performance for MACO users.
Before Your Migration
We recommend sending a member message to alert them that an upgrade to MACO is on the way, as well as let them know that most members will need to re-enroll in MACO services following the upgrade. Additionally, members will need to use their username and password to log in to online banking while MACO is unavailable during the migration. We’ll display a member message in online banking to communicate the upcoming migration, as well.

During Your Migration
We will perform the migration during off-peak times, and provide member messaging alerting them that MACO is temporarily unavailable. Online banking will remain available, but as MACO will be unavailable to members, they will need to use their login password to access online banking.
After Your Migration
Following your migration, most members will need to re-enroll in the upgraded MACO biometrics.
Upcoming Changes and Events
We will continue to communicate as we move through the migration, as well as with additional information on further pieces of the IdentityX migration process. We do anticipate that during the following upgrade this summer, members may have to re-enroll in certain services once more. We are also reviewing mandates for the sunset of certain biometric options, such as Android Face.
