This recipe outlines miscellaneous enhancements and new features we’re working on for our suite of online and mobile banking products: It’s Me 247, BizLink 247, and CU Publisher. To see mockups of these projects, check out slides 38-51 of the 2026 Leadership Conference presentation!
All status updates below are as of June 26, 2026.
Style Refresh
These projects support ongoing efforts to keep our digital banking interface visually fresh while leveraging the existing front-end architecture that allows cosmetic improvements to be implemented efficiently.
New Font, More Icons…even Emojis!
We’ll be updating the font and adding CU Publisher options for customizing things like rounded corners on widget islands. You can add graphical “new” pills to bring attention to new links and features. We’ll be integrating to Google Fonts so you will have many more symbols and icons to choose from. And there will be many more places you can customize, such as being able to arrange pucks and widgets on the Money view.
“Layout 3”
Currently, the middle of the home page has a spot for a single, 2-column-wide module – where the Favorites modules or the Full Account Summary appear. Layout 3 will allow you to use that real estate on the Home view for a 2-column display of widgets and link islands – meaning 4 columns in total across the page, instead of the current 3 columns. For the mobile app, that means you can use that valuable real estate to put even more features front and center for your members.
New Accounts and Finance Widget
As part of the style refresh, we’ll also be introducing a new Accounts and Finance Widget. This will be a customizable widget that enhances the existing Accounts widget which shows a summary of savings, certificate and loan account balances. You’ll be able to use this new widget to prominently highlight links to hot features, such as full account summary and the new cross-account summary, MoneyMap, the Message Center…whatever you like!
Status: Projects #67822, #67824, and #67825 are currently completing product design and waiting to be assigned to a programmer. We are targeting for release to the mobile app before the end of the 2026 calendar year, with desktop/mobile web equivalents coming in early 2027.
Bringing Security Front & Center with PIB
The Personal Internet Branch feature is a state-of-the-art security, out-of-band security feature that allows members to customize the security of their online banking experience. But while PIB has been around for years, many CUs don’t full take advantage of this powerful tool (which auditors love!). On top of that, the PIB “wizard” was showing its age, so it was time for a refresh!
With this project we’ll be bringing all of the powerful PIB tools into a module right inside It’s Me 247 desktop and mobile banking. It will still use its own separate authentication (keeping it “out of band”) but the process of getting set up, viewing the settings, and making adjustments will be greatly simplified and streamlined. Our goal is to make PIB as user-friendly as our online banking, and to highlight it as the powerful and high-tech security tool that it is.
Oh, and PIB controls will now be available in the mobile app, too!
Status: Project #48219 has been through several rounds of product design and is now in development, targeted for a release during 2027.
Down the Road
Once this refresh is done, future plans include introducing new PIB features such as controls for access to P2P (independent of bill pay), A2A, and eStatements, ability to perform stop pays, change Reg E settings, vote in elections, order checks, perform downloads, view Secure Message Center messages, and more.
See Your Plastics Spending
A few years ago we added to our Credit Card eStatements a graph that shows the member’s spending across categories based on MCC codes, including Communications, Fee, Services, Travel, Entertainment, Merchandise/Supplies, Restaurants, and Transportation. This project will introduce new widgets that will display this content in a graphical format for both debit and credit card activity, right in online and mobile banking.
Status: Project is in early product design, targeted for a 2027 update.
Targeted Ad Widgets
This project will allow credit unions to create lists of members using Query in CBX, then use CU Publisher to configure a graphical ad widget to appear in online and mobile banking only for members who are on the list.
Similar to 1Click loans, targeted ad widgets let you push marketing messages to specific audiences. Plus the widgets are flexible enough to be placed anywhere, separate from your general-purpose banner ad. Put a targeted ad for your debit card on the Pay & Transfers page and show it only to members who have been pre-approved to get one!
Status: Projects #67825 and #67826 are in product design and targeted for a release in 2027.
Mobile Alerts as Push Notifications
Now your mobile alerts about branch closings and other critical notices can appear not only when a member launches your mobile app, but as a push notification right on their phone!
Status: Project #66563 is currently in development, targeted for a release in the second half of 2026.
Transactions History Enhancements
We’re taking a hard look at the layout and functionality of the Account Details page, to add new features as well as make the information easier to navigate and provide to a more modern and flexible search experience. For example, we’ll change the way transactions are loaded so the member can perform a search by date range. And we’ll look at how pending ACH items are displayed for better clarity.
Status: Project #67828 is finishing up product design and waiting for programming resources, targeted a release sometime in 2027.
Vantage Credit Score Widget
For our mobile app, this project will introduce a widget using our existing VantageScore integration. This optional widget will provide members with a clear, prominent view of their current credit score directly from the home experience in the mobile app. While more simplified in scope than our Savvy Money integration, this experience provides a high-level member benefit, at a lower price point.
Status: Projects #67820 and #67821 are currently in product design, and targeted for the upcoming Mobile 9 update.
