Beginning May 17th following the CBX 26.05 Release, some password configuration options will change for It’s Me 247 online banking and BizLink 247 online business banking.
The first change will eliminate the option to allow SSN in It’s Me 247 temporary passwords. Any credit union that currently uses a temporary password that includes the SSN will be flooded during the release implementation to the alternate option currently available.
Additionally with the release, we will increase the required minimum length of passwords in both It’s Me 247 and BizLink 247 to 8 characters. Please be aware that any members who currently do not meet the 8-character minimum will be required to reset their password following the implementation of the release on Sunday, May 17th.
In accordance with current examiner requirements and security recommendations, we strongly encourage credit unions to utilize multi-factor authentication (MFA) options for first-time logins and password resets.
As a note, we are also expanding the maximum password length for BizLink 247 to align settings for BizLink 247 and It’s Me 247.
