Important: MACO Re-enrollment Schedule Changes

As we announced previously, MACO migration dates were changed due to delays in the app store approvals process.

Credit union migration dates are August 18 and targeted for September 29. Credit unions will be notified via Client News with the following information:

Your credit union’s iOS and Android app updates have been approved, and your members now have access to the Mobile 9.0 authentication upgrade. You have been scheduled for Phase II for [your date]. The migration will be visible to members between 7:30 – 8:00 AM ET.

Reminder: What Happens Now in Phase II

As your app has been approved by both the Android and iOS app stores, and members now have access to the Mobile 9.0 version of the app, you are eligible for the Phase II MACO migration and have been scheduled to move [your date].

Phase II changes include:

  • When your credit union is migrated, all existing MACO enrollments are removed as part of the move to the new platform.
  • Members will see a mobile alert when they launch the app, letting them know a security update requires them to set up biometric or PIN authentication again. Members are not forced to re-enroll – however, they will need to if they want to continue using biometric or PIN login. See the alert content examples here.
  • When a member does re-enroll, they’ll use the new streamlined Mobile 9 MACO enrollment process, which includes accepting an updated MACO EULA.

The Phase II migration will happen [your date]; members will see the EULA prompt and the re-enrollment beginning at 7:30 – 8:00 AM ET.
