The third of the “Teller 3P” (three teller platforms) projects is to create an interface between CU*BASE and a tablet or other type of teller automation hardware such as hybrid ATMs, Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs), and kiosk-type equipment.  Lots of questions have come in lately, so we are actively working on possible integrations.

Here is the status of the projects that we are working on with vendors and champion credit unions:

Hyosung

Integration is complete and active! Learn more and get started in the Store!  This solution allows members to perform a basic transaction set, beyond that typical of an ATM, directly against CU*BASE and not via the ATM rails. This solution can include a video teller component.

Many credit unions have expressed interest in this solution and are following along in our ITM Collaborators email group. Email Imaging@cuanswers.com if you want to be added to that group to collaborate with your peers and participate in the chatter.

NCR

We can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it’s coming quick. Beta with NCR will be starting after the first quarter of 2023. CU*Answers is currently wrapping up programming for NCR’s interface to eliminate some of the dual entry that tellers are currently experiencing with NCR ITMs, as well as building the integration to empower members to self-service across a broader set of transactions. At the beginning of 2023, NCR will start their programming efforts to wrap up the integration. From there we will be reaching out to our champion credit unions to integrate and test.

Diebold Nixdorf

We no longer have a champion credit union who is pursuing a Diebold ITMs. We have given Diebold our specs, but we have no plan for integration until a credit union wants to champion the project.
