Beginning today, July 22, you will see additional changes related to same-day ACH processing. We will begin receiving the first set of ACH files from the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) earlier in the day. Previously, we had been acquiring these posting files for the 5:00 PM ET posting and will now retrieve them earlier, in preparation for changes coming this fall. You might notice that the times on the receive reports (PACXTB) will be earlier than they have been in the past. Note that the posting time for the afternoon ACH posting will continue to occur at the same time in the afternoon for the time being.
Stay tuned – early in September, changes required by the FRB will go into effect. We will be activating a fourth ACH posting configuration beginning in early September, to prepare your credit union for that. More information will be coming soon, but for now, we want your credit union to be aware that the infrastructure is in place so that you will be ready before the required changes take place in September.
