The Organizational Resource Development (ORD) team of CU*Answers has begun the process of converting HR-related onboarding paper documents to an electronic format. With the help of eDOC Innovations’ eDOCSignature application, the ORD team is now able to send documents to all new employees electronically and receive their completed forms back prior to their start. Not only does this product make the onboarding process easier for new staff, it eliminates the manual filing process as once the documents are completed, they are saved directly to an employee’s personnel file.
This week the ORD team will run its first beta test by having new employee from eDOC Innovations fill out and sign all forms electronically. This paperwork will be done prior to starting their first day, which will allow for more time for employee engagement on their first day.
