Override Uncollected Funds

Supervisors, use these directions to perform an override if funds are unavailable due to check holds placed in the teller posting system.

Option 1

Supervisors, follow these steps if you assist an employee already in a member’s account on the Main Teller Posting screen (where deposits and withdrawals are entered).

  1. From Main Teller Posting screen, select Trans Override (F2).

  2. The Transaction Override screen will appear.

  3. Enter your employee ID and password.

  4. Enter the account number and suffix.

  5. Select "Override uncollected funds for one transaction" from the drop-down menu.

  6. Press Enter.

  7. Repeat Steps 2-5 for any additional overrides or suffixes.

Option 2

Supervisors, follow these directions if you assist from your own workstation:

  1. From the supervisor workstation, select the Timeout (hand) icon at the top of any screen.

  2. Select #7-Supervisor Transaction Override.

  3. The override screen will appear.  Enter your employee ID and password.

  4. Enter the account number and suffix.

  5. Select "Override uncollected funds for one transaction" from the drop-down menu.

  6. Press Enter.

  7. Repeat Steps 4-7 for any additional suffixes or overrides.
