Determine Why Overdraft Protection Did Not Transfer Funds

Follow three steps to determine why an overdraft account did not transfer funds.

  1. Determine that the account had funds available at the time of the transfer.

  2. Determine if the account is frozen. Also determine if the account was frozen at the time of the transfer or was previously frozen (review Step 6).

  1. If the overdraft protection is a loan, check the review date of the loan.

If at this point you still cannot determine the reason that overdraft protection did not transfer funds, contact a Client Service Representative.
