Add a Comment for a Member

This will add a message to the member's Message Center in online banking.

 

  1. Use Phone Operator (F2) from any main menu.  

  2. Enter your employee ID and password.

  3. Enter the member's account number and press Enter.

  4. Enter a member’s account number.

  5. Click F9-Add Cmt/Message.

  6. Choose Option 1: Leave msg for other CU Employees.

  7. Enter 7 in the Comment type field.

  8. Enter a line # in the Line # field.  (Must be a line without an existing comment.)

  9. Press Enter.

  10. Select Message # "99-Online Banking" and the Select option to type a customized message that the member will view the member's message center.

  11. Type your message in the field provided.

  12. Press Enter.

  13. Change the purge date if desired.

  14. Comments expire after a year. Enter all 9’s in the purge date if you don’t want the comment to expire.

  15. Leave "Display in member account comment window" checked if you would also like the comment to appear in the Comment window in CU*BASE.

  16. Change the text that will appear in the comment window if desired.

  17. Press Enter to save the changes.

  18. This message will appear on the member's Message Center in online banking (and in CU*BASE if the field is left checked in step 14).
