Questions Posed to CEOs by CU*Answers Board Members

The CU*Answers Board of Directors 2009 strategic planning kicked off at the December 10 CEO Roundtable, and will culminate at the August 2009 Board Strategic Planning Session. At the Roundtable meeting, Board members were asked to pose a key question to credit union CEOs. Your responses will assist the Board in developing our plans for the future of the CUSO. Please give us your feedback!

Chris Butler: Do you feel any risk putting too many of your eggs into one basket (too much investment into one organization)? How much should the organization continue to expand?
Chris Butler: Is there another function that ALL credit unions do that ALL could outsource to CU*Answers? (similar to how data processing is a function common to all CUs)
Dave Ohman: Considering the current economic conditions, how aggressive do you feel we should be?
Vickie Schmitzer: Finish this sentence: “If I was on the CU*Answers Board, I would ___________”
Joni Shinn: Sharing of employee resources – Interested? Pitfalls?
Ray Ward: What communication channels would work to keep you on top of what is happening at CU*Answers? (do you use the Kitchen? the CU*BASE Peer Analysis? the Newsstand? is getting emails enough?)
Dean Wilson: What products do you feel are most integral for members to have to consider you their PFI? (PFI indicators)
Dave Wright: Do you think that your credit union is surviving, or is it thriving because of your relationship with CU*Answers?
